The best place to learn to code is the one you feel more comfortable with because sitting in front of the computer for many hours you will need to get most of the content you will be learning.

Let's talk about my favorite resources below.

1. YouTube

I use YouTube to learn most of the new functionalities that I want to implement in my websites, but you can learn a lot by following along with so many tutorials about many programming languages and frameworks.

2. Udemy

I believe Udemy is the best place to start, at least that was how I started. Most of the contents of the courses go from beginner to advanced that means previous experience isn't required. 

They often offer coupons code with discounts of 80% or more so be aware.

3. Freecodecamp

As the name suggests, Freecodrcamp has a huge library with many courses for multiple programming languages. All you need to do is sign up to save your progress.

4. Codecademy

Master your language with lessons, quizzes, and projects designed for real-life scenarios. Codecademy is an interactive Online Course that you will be coding using their code editor that is integrated with the content you are learning. They offer full courses like Front-end web development, but you can pick parts of this learning path like JavaScript if it’s all you want to learn and skip other modules. You will receive a certificate for each course or module you pick. 

For me what differs this course from other online courses is the fact that you have to solve problems doing exercises from the beginning to the end.

5. Coursera 

Coursera offers many coding courses that are normally provided by big tech companies like Meta, Google and others and many universities like University of Michigan, the Hong Kong University, University of California e many others. You can take advantage of the 7 days trial plan and search for the best courses for you, and you can decide to continue your learning path or canceling your subscription before the trial ends.

6. EDX

Another great resource with many coursed provided by big Universities like Harvard University, Boston University, Berkeley University of California, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and many others. EDX offers. You can enroll to many courses for free but they all have paid options if you want full access to the course and receive the certificates.
